The Bridge View Center and VenuWorks is seeking a full-time person to coordinate event information, execute event contracts, maintain event bookings, supervise guest services team, and assist Sales & Marketing Manager and Ottumwa CVB Director in sales and marketing efforts for a multi-use facility hosting 300+ events annually. Be involved with all the behind-the-scenes work to produce and host events—from wedding receptions to corporate meetings to trade shows, concerts, theater, and other entertainment events.
Applicants should enjoy working with a diverse client base and the general public, keeping customer service the top priority. Must have ability to perform physical labor and work irregular hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits, 401K retirement plan, insurance offered. Salary based upon work experience and education. Qualifications: 2-year college degree required; 4-year college degree preferred. Servers and Bartenders – Food & Beverage Department
We are looking for responsible and dependable individuals who would like to pick up additional hours and money working the events at the Bridge View Center. Seeking individuals interested in working as servers, concessions staff and/or bartending. Since our business is event driven, available shifts vary with the requirements of each event. Hours range from early morning to late evening and include weekends. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude since you will be dealing with clients and patrons.

Custodial / Set-up / Technical / Event Staff – Operations Department
Individuals interested in working behind the scenes of the events at the Bridge View Center may want to apply. Available hours are based upon the events scheduled in the building. Range of responsibilities include but are not limited to: setting up tables & chairs, running sound & lights in the theater, setting the arena for a concert, custodial before, during or after an event, programming lights in the expo hall, painting, general maintenance and so much more! Looking for people who can work independently and on a team is beneficial.
