Shangri-La Acrobats

The Shangri-La Acrobats combine this and more into their fantastic show of Chinese acrobatics. With over twenty five years of experience, the Shangri-La Acrobats have been flawlessly executing their art for hundreds of amazed audiences. The troupe has appeared on CNN and the Family Channel, including a performance at the USA Olympic Swim Team’s Golden Goggles Gala. A performance of high energy for all ages, the death-defying acrobatics and bold heart-stopping maneuvers are sure to leave you begging for more!

Marley’s Ghost has been together for 21 years bringing its lively nature, charm, and witty repartee to classic Americana music. The group combines instrumental virtuosity with tight four-part harmonies into animated live performances. With a varied background covering everything from bluegrass to Mardi Gras funk, Marley’s Ghost uses its spread of experience to bring an enjoyable evening of memorable music.

Church Basement Ladies

Experience the church year from the perspective of four characters who work in the church basement kitchen in the show Church Basement Ladies. This musical comedy takes place in a rural Minnesota church in the year 1964. Enjoy the hilarity that revolves around several church occasions including a Hawaiian Easter Fund Raiser, leading a young bride in the right direction, a record breaking Christmas dinner, and of course organizing food. This funny and down to earth show combines the silliness of Nunsense with the homespun humor of Prairie Home Companion, and will definitely have you laughing in the aisles!

Butch Thompson Trio

A fresh approach to the classic early jazz traditions is what the Butch Thompson Trio brings to every concert. This little band puts on a big show covering everything from Scott Joplin’s Maple Leaf Rag to the dirty blues of south Chicago to 1920’s Harlem. Receiving critical and popular acclaim, a typical concert for the Butch Thompson Trio offers pop, stomps, blues, and ragtime tied together with informative, entertaining commentary by Butch. The Trio is well-known for its long run on public radio’s A Prairie Home Companion and brings a fresh approach to grand American jazz at every performance.

Romeo & Juliet

The tale of young star-crossed lovers ending with their untimely death is presented when William Shakespeare’s classic romantic tragedy comes to the stage this season.  One of Shakespeare’s most well known and most often performed plays, Romeo & Juliet tells the story of two feuding families who are brought together through the deaths of their children, who having been hiding their love affair. Presented by the Guthrie Theater and the Acting Company, this epic story displayed through flowing language, intricate plot lines, and enchanting scenery should not be missed.   *Show time has been changed from 7pm to 3pm since season was released.

Tap Kids

Senior year holds many challenges both big and small, including the school dance and ultimately graduation. Through a series of musical vignettes, Tap Kids tells the story of eight high school kids overcoming the obstacles of their last year of high school. This celebration of American culture began in Tampa Bay, Florida in 2002, and has since traveled across the US and the world. Audiences have been thrilled by the intense passion and extreme talent displayed by Tap Kids. Tap Kids takes the traditional dance form to new heights in an electrifying performance that is hip, contemporary, and uplifting.
