Wine Pairing Wednesday

Wine Pairing Wednesday will be held Wednesday, October 14. Social gathering begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The cost is $60 per person and RSVP is required by Monday, October 12, 12 p.m. Please RSVP to the BVC Administration Office at 641-684-7000 or info@bridgeviewcenter.com.

Wines are presented by Dimitri Wine & Spirits Vice President & General Sales Manager, Thomas A. Mason IV, from Davenport, Iowa.

The following is Chef Seth Simmons’ planned three course menu:

Starter

• Lobster Corn Chowder. Paired with 2023 Bargetto Chardonnay.

Main Entrée

• Creole Chicken and Brown Butter Crispy Shrimp with a Pineapple Rum Sauce. Served with Coconut Cream Risotto and Char Roasted Seasonal Vegetables (Not Spicy). Paired with Daffodil Pinot Noir.

Dessert

• Bananas Foster Cake with Lemon Sweet Cream and Mint Micro Greens. Paired with Villa Giada Moscato d’ Asti.
